Maintenance Plans

What are the main differences between the 3 plans - Nano, Lite and Booster?
Nano Plan is our most affordable plan, where you’ll have the support of our team to monitor your website proactively for security issues and intervene promptly when the need arises.

Lite Plan includes everything in Nano Plan, plus weekly updating of software (WordPress) & plugins, as well as doing full backups of your website every day. These actions are essential for keeping your website up-to-date and ensuring that you have access to the latest backup files in the event of a need to restore your website.

Booster Plan includes everything in Lite Plan, plus content updating, where our team will help you to update your website content such as editing text, images, etc (up to 1 hour/month).

How do I decide which plan is most suitable for me?
Nano Plan is suitable for businesses that are working with a tighter budget.

Lite Plan is our recommended plan as it is comprehensive enough to cover all the fundamental aspects of keeping your website secure and running smoothly.

For businesses that also need our help with updating your website content such as editing text & images, Booster Plan will be more suitable for your needs as it comes with 1 hour of content updates every month (which should be sufficient for most businesses).

Should your business require heavier content updates, kindly contact us to request for a customised quote.

Yearly vs monthly billing - which one is better?
In our experience, website maintenance is the most effective and cost-efficient for your business when done continuously. For a hassle-free option, go for yearly billing and enjoy up to 20% in savings!

If you prefer to give our maintenance service a try first without being bounded by a year-long commitment, you are simply start with monthly billing for greater freedom and flexibility. You’ll have the option to convert to a yearly plan later on, or discontinue our service at anytime (no questions asked)!

Does your maintenance service cover all kinds of CMS websites?
We only support WordPress websites at the moment.
Does your maintenance service cover all types of WordPress websites?

Our published maintenance packages are applicable for non-eCommerce WordPress websites only (non-eCommerce means you are not selling things on your website).

I have an eCommerce WordPress website. Can WebBuddy help to maintain?

Yes! Please send us more details about your website so we can provide you with a customised quote based on your needs.

What are content updates?
Content updates (also known as editorial updates) refer to text and image changes/additions to your website. Other changes to your website apart from text/image edits are not covered in our monthly plans and separate charges may apply.
By content updates, does it mean WebBuddy can help me to write content?
No, our maintenance service does not include content creation for your website. We will need you to provide us with the original content and we will help you to upload it to your website.
How many content update requests can I send each month?
  • For clients on Booster plan, you can send us update requests that do not exceed 1 man hour every month.
  • For clients on Nano plan or Lite plan, your plan does not include content updates.
How do I submit an update request to WebBuddy?
Simply drop us an email with the changes you need anytime!
How long do I have to wait for my website content to be updated?

We will complete all updates within 48 hours of receiving your request (once all required information has been duly provided by the requestor).

In the event that there is incomplete information received, we will deliver the updates within 48 hours from the time that we receive all required information from you.

What do security strengthening measures include?
Security strengthening measures include database security strengthening, file permission tightening, firewall setup, preventing brute force logins, blocking fake Googlebots and more. In a nutshell, all of these measures are targeted at keeping your website safe from hackers.
What is malware and why is it important to check for it?
If malware virus is found on your website, Google will flag your site as malicious and block all visitors from entering, which means no one will be able to view any part of your website as long as the malware is still present. With our daily scans and active removal of malware viruses from your site, you can be assured that your visitors and customers will not have problems visiting your site anytime.
What does a full-site backup mean?
A full-site backup is a complete backup of all your website assets, including database, images and files. We do a full backup of your website every single day and the files are stored securely on the cloud. In the event that your website is hacked, we will be able to restore your website fully.

Registration & Billing

How do I sign up?
You can sign up for our service online by following these steps:

  1. Choose your preferred plan and click the Sign Up button.
  2. Enter the required payment information and click the Subscribe button.
  3. Provide us with your details in our online form, then click Submit. That’s it!
  4. Our team will get in touch with you via email to finalise the website handover details 🙂
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment online via debit or credit card.
When will I be billed every month?

Your billing cycle is determined based on the day that you sign up with us.

For example, if you signed up on 15th October, your next payment will be deducted on 15th November, and the next on 15th December, and so on.

Can I switch plans along the way?
Yes, you can switch between plans flexibly based on your business needs. Just drop our team an email and we will help you to process the changes promptly.
